Registration is open for Eastern ARC's Sanctuary Solidarities Conference at Sussex
Posted on behalf of: Eastern ARC
Last updated: Monday, 14 July 2025

The annual conference is open to all and will focus on the fourth of Eastern ARC’s priorities, , and uses the anniversaries of the founding of United Nations High Commission for Refugees and the Cities of Sanctuary movement to explore a diverse range of issues for refugees, migrants and those seeking sanctuary, and for those supporting them. These include:
- Educational and employment challenges for refugees
- Partnership-building with universities in regions of conflict
- Using the creative arts in community building
- Working with host communities to address worries and fears
- Addressing ethical issues around refugee research
- Highlighting the legal framework of support for refugees.
To register, please complete by 7 August 2025.
We will only confirm your place after the closing date, as we are keen to have as wide a representation of individuals and organisations at the conference as possible, and therefore will try and strike a balance between those represented.
The full programme is available .
